Two weeks old

Don't expect much blogging in the next few weeks...I'm learning how to be a mom :) But here are some pictures to hold you over!

For the record, things are going well. Hazel is still as perfect and precious as ever. She's up to 8lbs now and Dan and I are truly in love with her...we're exhausted, but in love!

She's Finally Here!

Hi there,
Dan here doing a guest post! We are pleased to announce the arrival of Hazel Mae Roundhill! She's 7 lbs, 6 ounces and 19.5 inches long and was born 1/5/2009 at 8:32pm. She's more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Mom and baby are doing really well and are currently resting together.

Much love to all, and thank you for your prayers. It was a long but very miraculous day! More to come later when Sarah can post the whole story with some pics.

Love,
Dan, Sarah and Hazel

I'm Having A Baby!

I came to the hospital at around 11:30pm last night and I've been contracting, resting, dialating...you know, having a baby!!! I'll keep you as posted as I can. She'll be here soon and I can't wait to meet her, kiss her, and love all over her!

Keep Dan, baby, and I in your prayers today!

She's still not here...

Well, she's not here yet, but I had an Fetal Non-Stress Test this afternoon and things are going well. I'm having mild contractions all the time, and baby is moving around normally with a normal heart beat. The nurse thought she'd be here in the next day or two...

I had a good week; no leg/back spasms = happy Sarah! New Years Eve we had dinner with Erin, Daniel, and Jon and Lauren Soini. (I had spicy, spicy green curry to try and smoke her out, but it only made her mad and kick me all evening)! On New Years Day we went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Andrew, Stephanie, Abby and Lisa. And then I had coffee with Marta and Ona. On Friday, Dan got off early and we went to happy hour at Maggiano's and then walked around the mall for two hours to try and walk baby out.

Today we just slept in and chilled at home until my appointment this afternoon. Then afterward we went to Wibbley's so Dan could get a hamburger from one of his favorite burger joints. As of last Friday, I'm not supposed to have any salt, but the burger smelt sooooooooooo good, and the "one bite" was just too good to pass up, so I ended up ordering one of my own!!! (Don't tell my doctor :)

All in all a good week. Dan and I have run out of things to do in prep for baby, so we're starting to get a little antsy, but we're also trying to enjoy our last days as two.

Update on Dan: no real news. We don't expect to hear back from his tests until Monday at the earliest. He hasn't had another "attack" but he has had the pain and discomfort a couple times since. Please pray for continued heath/healing for him.
