Hazel at 13 weeks old
I was super sick Sunday April 5th, but that didn't stop me for seeing my favorite Scottish band, Travis. It was a great show! Erin, Dan and I have seen them four times now in the last six years. We love them! They never disappoint.
We also had a great Easter. Somehow we made it to the morning Church service (a miracle in it of itself), got home, made cheesy potatoes, feed Hazel (again a miracle) and then drove down to Dan's sister's house in DuPont. It was great to spend the day with family.
Yesterday Hazie turned 14 weeks and rolled over (from back to tummy) for the first time. She did it a few times, of course never when I was videotaping. She's such a happy baby, and fills Dan and I with so much joy!

you are totally hilarious.
oh man that was a great night. i love them and you so much! but next time...you will not be sick...and we will stick around again...and fran & dougie are in our sights.
My friend's baby was having a really hard time eating. She barely ate anything for a month, and then they went to the doctor and found out she had an ear infection. Once the ear infection was better she started eating again. It is a good chance she was sick and didn't want to eat that happens a lot.
Breastfeeding does get easier and easier, but it is something hard to get used to (at least it was for me).
Erin - oh how I love you! We will meet those boys...We have to!
Emilie! I didn't know you had a blog (or looked at mine for that matter). Good to hear from you! I thought that might be the case too, but I took Hazel in last week and her ears were fine. But thanks for the tip.
it gets better :) it took me and Logan quite a while of going no where and working htings out. Babies are funny how they eat when they want to and don't then they don't feel like it. One thing is for sure, they won't let themselfs starve :) no matter how little it seems they're eating, it'll kick in when they know they need it. Hang in there! hope you two feel better soon.
Hazel is so beautiful :)
Your friends are right! Hazel will start eating again - so many times they slow down and then at a growth spurt speed up in the feeding department. Every baby is different when it comes to nursing - but I know you both will feel relaxed about it soon. Hang in there - you are a great mom!
i mean this in an encouraging way, but breastfeeding was the biggest surprise of motherhood to me. its incredibly hard! i struggled with it with both kids for pretty much the whole time. bad milk production was mostly to blame. i'll be thinking of you two, this probably just is a bad spell that will get better. i love your blog!
