How exciting! I can't wait to see pictures and hear about the fun!

Check with your doctor to see what you can give the baby for your trip. I might not have kids, but I've heard of many creative solutions. :)

P.S. Your message yesterday made my day. I'll be responding to it shortly. The Lord must have told you that I was going to have a loooooong day. It seriously came at the perfect moment! You're the best! I heart you.

You guys are going to have so much fun!!

As far as baby on a plane, if she likes her car seat at all and you can get an extra seat, bring it on the plane! We did that on the way to and from Hawaii and Hailey did great in it. That or bring a baby sling to wear her in so your arms don't get tired.

Also, time it so you're nursing while you take off and while you land (if possible) to avoid ear trouble.

I've heard traveling with a small baby is actually easier than traveling with a toddler! At least you have that going for you... :)

I've traveled a lot (to Guam and back; to WA and back a few times; to Virginia and back) with lots of babies. You'll do great and I'm sure she will too. She sounds easy-going.

My advice to you: bring and store things in freezer bags. I use the big gallon (I think) ones for keeping clothes in, snacks in, etc. Then if you have to store something that's dirty or need a place to store garbage or a poopy diaper, you can use that. It also keeps things from inadvertently getting wet. I have older ones though so that may be less of a issue with a little one, but then you have Dan...so he may need the bag method.

It's good to get Hazel started on her accent early! ;)
